Organize your Documents

If you are buying or refinancing a home:

  1. If you are:
    Salaried: provide two years W-2 and one month of pay stubs.
    Self-employed: provide two years tax returns.
  2. If you own rental property, provide rental agreements if we are using the income to qualify.
  3. Provide two months bank statements for each bank, stock and mutual fund that we list on your application.
  4. Provide your most recent statement for any IRA or 401K account that we list on your application.
  5. If you are:
    NOT a U.S. citizen: provide a copy of your green card (front and back)
    NOT a permanent resident: provide your H-1 or L-1 visa.
If you are applying for a home equity loan:
  1. Provide a copy of the note on your first mortgage. This will normally be found in your closing loan documents from the title company that closed the loan.
  2. If you are:
    Salaried: provide two years W-2’s and one month of pay stubs.
